These terms cover your use of openyear.tax (the "site") and applying for early access. The site is operated by RegAtlas, LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them.

What the site is

The site describes OpenYear, shows a sample report, and lets you apply for early access. The OpenYear product itself isn't offered through the site. When it's available to you, using it will be covered by separate terms that you'll be asked to accept then.

Not tax, legal or financial advice

Everything on the site is general information. It isn't tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and it doesn't create a professional relationship between you and us. The sample report describes a fictional business; its figures are illustrations built from stated assumptions, not estimates for you. Tax outcomes depend on your own facts and the law as it applies to you — talk to a qualified tax professional before acting on anything here.

Early access

Applying for early access is free and doesn't guarantee a place. We choose who joins each cohort, and when, and we may change or end the early-access program at any time. What we keep when you apply, and why, is described in ourprivacy policy.

Using the site

Please don't:

• submit someone else's information, or information that isn't true;
• try to disrupt, overload, probe or break into the site or the systems behind it;
• scrape or copy the site in bulk, or use it to build a competing product;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Our content

The site's text, design, sample report and the OpenYear name and logo belong to RegAtlas, LLC. You're welcome to read, share links to and quote the site; please don't reproduce it wholesale or present it as your own.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

No warranties

The site is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and working, but we don't promise that it's complete, error-free or always available.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RegAtlas, LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
